And she's off

A sad day for Queenee, Key Dear left for home this morning. It was so great for her to be here for Queenee's birthday, everyone was happy to see her and glad she could be here for the weekend. As usual, she did a lot of work while here - the living room and dining room look terrific, and she reupholstered two chairs to boot! She brought some halibut and salmon from Alaska, and they were delicious.

The Ds and Peas came over for a small birthday dinner last night, and Fluffy stopped in for a quick hello and to say Happy Birthday on the actual date. Dawg is sick as a dog with allergies and ended up having to stay home.

Birthday party videos will be up by the end of the weekend.

  1. Hold up there wabbit... we all worked to get the extra "stuff" out of the rooms... It was fun sorting out the things that collected over the summer, and sending them to the attic, cellar or bagging to give to whoever they belong to. It was a cooky summer for sure and I was happy to help you two catch up with it! Felt like we were at a yard sale, giggling at all the things we found and put away for winter. When we finished that we looked around and said,,, hey the pictures need rearranging... and BAM.. we played with that too! The chair I got this summer and had no room LOL to bring in the truck got a new look with attic material, $3 looks like $50 now. "We" did it... not "me" alone, silly wabbit. I hope it helped with the transition to winter, I enjoyed helping out.

  2. Now now, I had nothing whatsoever to do with any of that. You and Queenee did all the work, my contribution consisted of suggesting turning a rug around. Wow, I'm such a help, LOL.

The chairs look great, like new chairs, and both rooms are so much cleaner and tidier now. Maybe I'll have to fly you up every few months or so...at least you DO something while you're here (unlike me)!
