Christmas 2006

Christmas 2006 was a hectic day for some, but was fun for all. BluePhan and Quackers spent the night and got up at 4:30am to surprise PopPop with a visit from Santa! DamCat and Deacon came early and we had coffee and began opening presents. Dog, FluffyDuf and her brother David arrived early afternoon and round two of present opening commenced. Shortly after that, DamCat's brother John came with Chris and the baby, who was good as gold. He watched all the commotion around him, but never cried or fussed once. By the end of the evening we were all tired (and some of us were barely able to speak or stand...) and ready for a good night's sleep.

Virtual presents were a big hit this year. I am looking forward to trying out my new submarine in the lake on my Tuscan wine estate. The fab pedicab will be handy for those quick errands into town. Maybe I can get George Clooney to go with me. I don't know about that diamond encrusted bra, though, that may not fit. Still, it's an incentive to lose some poundage!

Of course, the big present this year is DamCat's new house. I'm sure the girls can't wait to decorate next year!
