Plus-size clothing

I think there is a real market for plus-size clothing for women. Mom and I have been looking for something to wear to Laura's wedding in two weeks, and we're having an unbelievably difficult time finding anything appropriate. There seem to be three catagories: very formal (and horrible fabrics); business attire; and casual. Nothing at all semi-formal that would be appropriate for a morning wedding. I may have to get my sewing skills up to snuff. We'll go to Coldwater Creek tomorrow and see what we can find.

  2. Hey, we aren't tough, we just know what we like, and we don't like being overcharged to look like cheap circus tents.

Coldwater Creek has beautiful clothes and not outrageous prices (and thank you for paying, tno!), so if the outfit I ordered fits, I'm set. Nan also has a couple outfits to choose from. Now if the blisters on my feet would just heal...

  3. Coldwater Creek certainly has what you want and need. I know mom likes something to cover her arms, she should shop for a light/sheer cover-up to go over a sleeveless dress. They simply don't make wonderful clean crisp lovely cotton day dresses like they used to. I should shop on Duval St. for you both! Our evening wear is your day wear.... what are your sizes??? I know the Nan has problems with TOO LONG dresses and you with the TOO SHORT lengths. Spend money and get what you like, don't settle for circus tents!! LOL
