Bird Migration radar link

With all this bird talk, I wanted to share the above link from BadBirdz - Reloaded that is so much more than interesting. Because when I say a bird flew in on the wind, I'm not kidding! For the northern birders, you can enjoy the NJ migration site, Woodcreeper.com.

    Did I read that the site goes latent between May and August? I'll need to figure out how to interpret those maps, but the posts by the terrestrial observers are pretty rich.

    A neighbor of mine got a great picture of a white crowned pigeon the other day... then another neighbor who didn't take a photo but claimed to have found... and I quote....
    "Last night I saw a large-breasted Mattress Thrasher at one of the local watering holes."
