Now is a good time to show the progress since Hurricane Wilma 10/24/05.
The ocean flood of 4 1/2 feet in my yard killed just about all my plants. I saved what I could and replanted the rest. On the left above is a picture taken in December 2005 when we removed much of the dead plants and were in the process of cleaning up the area.
The second picture is the same view, but taken May 2007. Anhaga, Mother Nature has been hard at work for the good!
What a contrast! I can imagine how you felt looking out at your once beautiful yard after the storm. And howmuch work it takes to have made it all so beautiful again. Almost as good as new. Nice pictures, Key Dear.
ReplyDeletei think having a lot of the plants in containers is a great idea. It looks beautiful and you can get them up off the ground if need be.
