Plumeria (Frangipani)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

On the plant scene ... I have had good luck with my yard, and I'm thankful! The summer bloomers are in full swing. I have two Frangipani, one pink and one yellow, and both are cuttings from other local trees. They are salt/drought tolerant so I may want more! Still no recent rain here on Cudjoe, so heavy water restrictions continue. For the vegetation it is survival of the fittest, but I do give them drink twice a week as allowed.

  1. I was so blown away by the amazing growth of your plants and trees. What a fabulous environment, flowers everywhere. Exotic plants that I had only seen before in miniature grew several stories high. Those frangipani are gorgeous.

  2. Thanks! We're almost back (half way) to how I love it... No curtains, no view of neighbors and breezes still flying through the house! I posted above my before and after of this last event. I'm in high hopes that wabbit will help me do a complete before and after photo show of Villa Villekulla. I'm bringing my photo chips up with me so she can do her magic while I'm there! The changes are amazing, that's the reasoning behind the coral reef post. Everything can be renewed, it just takes time, courage and effort... down on your hands and knees effort!

  3. LOL, I've moved these three photos to Photobucket and re-aligned them in your posts (just the usual editing). Bring all the photos you have and we'll spend a day scanning!

What a difference 18 months makes! From almost nothing but the lone palm tree to something reminiscent of what the yard was like when you first moved there.
